Update from Cook Baptist Church

Dear Cook family,

We wanted to keep you updated on several items:

  1. Due to the governor's stay-at-home order issued on March 22nd, the church office remains closed until further notice. You can email our staff and you can also call the church and leave a voicemail. Thank you for your understanding!
  2. Weekly activities at Cook are still canceled or postponed until further notice.
  3. If you missed Bro. Jeff's sermon, "Looking Through the Eyes of Jesus", you can listen to it here: ttps://subsplash.com/cookbc/media/mi/+mknng23 or at cookbc.org.
  4. The video of the service is also still available on our YouTube channel and Facebook page.
  5. This past Sunday, you should have received an email to sign up for RightNow Media! If you didn't receive the email or would like to sign up, you can email us at cook@cookbc.org to create an account! Watch for your Ministry and Connect Group Leaders to post or send specific resources related to your connect groups and ministry teams. Most importantly, we encourage families to take this time to pray together, explore God’s Word together, and find constructive and creative ways to connect and share with others during this time.
  6. We will live stream our worship service again this Sunday at 10:15! You can access the stream on our Facebook page, YouTube channel, Twitter account, or right here on the cookbc.org website!

We are fortunate to have the technology necessary for practicing generosity through our online giving at cookbc.org. If you have not set this up, now may be the perfect occasion to do so! Your continual faithfulness is appreciated. If you need help setting up online giving, please reply to this email. You can also mail your tithe to the church at 2000 Cooktown Road, Ruston, LA 71270.

We love you and pray for you regularly. Stay safe, and know that we are here for you!

Sincerely,

Your Cook Staff
