Our quarterly L.I.F.T. (Living In Fellowship Together) groups are growing in popularity. On these L.I.F.T. Group meeting Sundays, families of our church and guests meet together in homes scattered around our community for a time of fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. Our Spring 2016 L.I.F.T. Group meetings were held on April 10. Not every group reported in with a photo, but those that did were apparently having a good time.
Twice yearly, around Easter and Thanksgiving, several churches in the Ruston area combine in a evening worship service to fellowship and worship together. Cook Baptist Church hosted Ruston's 2015 Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday evening, November 15. Churches from all over the area combined for an inspiring evening of praise and worship. The Cook choir and worship leaders from the churches led in congregational and special music and Dallas Witt, Lead Pastor of South Parkway Church preached an inspirational message. Over 450 people packed our auditorium and spilled over to our overflow rooms.
