The Cook Kidz Ministry team has some great events planned for Spring. We hope that you and your children will join us!

Plus, you can make plans now for your kids to attend CentriKid Children's Camp, July 29 - August 2, 2019. This year, we are headed to Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, AL. A $50 deposit and registration is due on February 15, 2019. You can sign up at our Events page or email Rebecca@cookbc.org if you have questions.

Children's Ministry Overview

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 13:35

Our purpose in Children's Ministry is to teach kids to

  1. Love- To be loved by God, to love God and to love others!
  2. Grow- Personal discipline for growing closer to God!
  3. Serve-Discovering our own uniqueness for ministry!
  4. Go- What it means to live sent and share God's love with others!

If we learn to trust God and follow him when we are young, it is much easier to exercise our faith and know he has a plan for us as we grow older and go out into the world.

Our logo was chosen specifically to reflect our purpose. Each handprint represents our ministry; hands are made to interlock, because we are to connect with others and share God's love with them.

We are to go out and share His love with others in our community. That is the purpose of our Love, Grow, Serve and Go.

The events planned by our ministry team are designed to be fun and fulfill His purpose!

If you have thoughts or questions about Cook's Kidz Ministry, we would love to hear from you!
