2019 Church Budget

Each church family should have received
a copy of the proposed 2019 church budget
in the mail. If you have not yet received your
copy, please contact the church office.

Discussion of the budget is planned for
a special called business meeting on
Wednesday, November 7 at 6:00 PM
in the auditorium. The vote on the budget
is scheduled for Sunday, November 11,
at the end of the morning worship service.

2018 LBC Pastor’s Conference
We have been asked to host the 2018
Louisiana Baptist Convention Pastor’s
Conference on Sunday evening, November 11
and Monday, November 12. We need volunteers
to help greet people and direct people around
our church facility. If you would be available
to help, please contact Bro. Todd.

Explore Cook Luncheon
Sunday, December 2
Immediately following the morning service

We have scheduled another Explore Cook
Luncheon for new or prospective church members.
If you would like to learn more about
the ministry of our church and were unable
to attend our last luncheon, please contact

LIFT Groups Host Homes Needed

LIFT groups will meet on Sunday, July 29 at 6:00 PM.
LIFT stands for Living In Fellowship Together.
LIFT groups meet in homes for the purpose
of building fellowship within Cook Baptist Church.
Participants share a meal followed by a time
of Bible study and prayer. If you would like to host
a group in your home that evening, please
let Bro. Todd know by Sunday, July 8.

Prayer for Youth and Children’s Trips

Please be in prayer for our Youth and Children
as they travel this month. Our youth will be traveling
to Greenville, SC to participate in XFuge on Mission
on July 15-21. Our children will be attending
Centrikid camp in Shocco Springs, AL on July 30-August 3.

July 4 Schedule Changes

There will be no activities at the church
on Wednesday, July 4. The office will be
closed that day as well.
